Tobacco Junction in Wadsworth, OH and Barberton, OH decided as a group to get the customers involved and volunteer their time. At both stores they put out 2 boxes; 1 for clothing donations and 1 for canned goods. They also put out a jar for cash donations. Owners Ryan McNeill and Nick Accordino matched all cash and food donations since they would not be able to volunteer their time. After 4 weeks of collecting clothing, food and cash donations they took everything to the Haven of Rest Ministries in Akron, Ohio. After they dropped off donations, Dominic and 3 other Tobacco Junction employees volunteered their time in the kitchen by peeling 300lbs of potatoes for their Christmas dinner.
Also, all of us here at RYO Machines ran a donation for Heifer International. We collected enough money from our employees to purchase two heifers for an impoverished family!
